Amber was born and raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. She has two younger sisters and one younger brother. Her father is an audio engineer for ESPN and her mother is a talent manager.

Amber started acting at the age of 8.

She plays the recurring role of "Glenda" on One Tree Hill. Not only did she play the role of "Vita" in The Initiation of Sarah, which was up for a Teen Choice Award, but she also had five of her own songs on the soundtrack. She is currently the announcer for the Cartoon Network's Boomerang in Latin America and is in the upcoming movie The Marc Pease Experience, with Ben Stiller and Jason Schwartzman.

She has a three legged tiny toy poodle named Chewbacca.

When she is not working on projects or in the studio recording, she attends Georgia State University for English with an emphasis on Creative Writing and a minor in film.
